Hydrodesulfurization of dibenzothiophene over synthesized nanosized molybdenum disulfide: Effect of H2S partial pressure

Abstract

Nanosized MoS2 catalyst of ca. 4 nm in its basal plane was synthesized through the thermal annealing of ammonium tetrathiomolybdate. The structure and morphology were assigned by XRD, and TEM tools. The present catalyst showed a significant activity in the presnece of H2S for the hydrodesulfurization of dibenzothiophene.
