Identification of robot manipulators using neural networks and genetic programming

Abstract

An evolving neural networks (NNs) based identification method is proposed using genetic programming (GP). This method combines the advantages of both NNs and GPs. The effectiveness of this method is evaluated with a 2DOF planar manipulator.
