Abstract

The dc resistance of layered material CuFeTe2 responds to oxygen concentration by intercalation. We have investigated oxygen response of the impedance in the frequency range of 20 Hz to approximately 1 MHz. From analyzing by the complex impedance plot, it has been found that the ac equivalent circuit parallel and perpendicular to the sintered sample surface represents a resistance R, and the parallel circuit of a resistance R and a capacitance C, respectively. The R has been also found to linearly respond to the oxygen concentration at room temperature.
