Abstract
We show how IEC (interactive evolutionary computation) make the 3D shape design an easy and intuitive task through subjective tests. We assume two different design aspects such as a real object reproduction and a new shape creation, and conduct the tests with twenty subjects. Some qualitative observations and discussions are presented from a viewpoint of the effectiveness of the proposed modeling method.
