Abstract

This study was aimed to improve quantum efficiency (QE) of wavelength sensitive organic photo-diode (PD). Cyanine dye doped conductive polymer, PEDOT:PSS is printed by ink-jet on ITO substrate as light absorbing layer. With Al and ITO as electrode, this organic bulk-hetero PD demonstrated to be wavelength sensitivity. However, this device indicated low QE. In this study, it was achieved QE got more than one hundred times higher than previous result with keeping wavelength sensitivity, by introducing electron and hole transport layer to between each electrodes and cyanine dye film respectively,
