Abstract
This paper presents a method to suppress or eliminate the spurious responses of a BPF using interdigital-type resonators. The configurations presented employ interdigital-type resonators with one end grounded in order to realize improved BPF characteristics. The analysis shows that the configurations quite effectively suppress spurious responses up to five times the center frequency (5f0) and locate the attenuation poles in the stopband such that improved out-of-band characteristics can be realized.
