Inverse cross-bilateral filter for cross-sharpening of images

Abstract

We propose an inverse cross-bilateral filter for sharpening a target image with the aid of a reference image. The effectiveness of the proposed method is examined for the cases using a flash photography or a near-infrared image as the reference images.
