Abstract
An iterative transfer perturbation method, which make it possible to introduce infinitely the higher order terms in the perturbation expansion, is applied to the interaction between a polymer and small molecules. It is shown that final results are obtained with rapid convergence to give good agreement with those by the direct extended Hückel method. This method seems to be applicable for the study of the electronic properties of various polymer systems with dopants.
