Kondo Effect on Josephson Critical Current in Sns Proximity System

Abstract

The Kondo effect on the Josephson critical current in SNS proximity systems is investigated. The temperature dependence of the critical current is calculated by use of the extended Usadel equation for arbitrary Kondo temperatures and it is found that the critical current exhibits an anomalous behavior at around the Kondo temperature. The possible implication to high Tc oxide superconductors is discussed.
