Abstract

This paper proposes the Machine Translation using newly proposed Translation Grammar. The grammar's production rules have the information for translation in addition to grammar rule, so syntactic tree parsed by this grammar has the information for translation too. The information for translation attached to a syntactic tree is used not only to derive the target sentence, but also to select the best syntactic trees for translation.
