Magnetic field and temperature dependence of linear resistivity in YBa2Cu3O7/PrBa2Cu3O7 multilayers

Abstract

We have studied the temperature dependence of the linear resistivity ρL under several magnetic fields for YBa2Cu3O7 (24/Å)/PrBa2Cu3O7 (96Å) multilayers. From a thermally activated flux flow model, the H dependence of an activation energy U seems to show the power-law behaviour above 2 T, while the scaling behaviour of PL suggests the existence of a quasi-two-dimensional vortex-glass transition. These phenomena may be attributed to the existence of the coupling between YBa2Cu3O7 layers in this multilayers.
