Abstract
This study focused on day trips between forty-seven prefectural capitals and analyzed the longest stay time in the travel destination of two thousand one hundred sixty-two routes. Although shortening of travel time enables day trips among many cities, the length of stay time in the destination varies greatly depending on the combination of the departure place and the destination. According to the analysis results, a day trip is possible with two thousand one hundred sixty-one routes excluding one route from Naha to Tottori. And it is also revealed that the stay time of the route to and from Sapporo and Naha, which depends on air routes, will be shorter
