Millimeter-wave spectroscopy of the internal-rotation band of the He-HCN complex and the intermolecular potential energy surface

Abstract

The observation of the internal-rotation band of He-HCN by MMW spectroscopy combined with a pulsed jet technique was reported. As such, a multi-reflection path for MMW spectroscopy to facilitate the observation of weak transitions of He-HCN was employed. Nearly all of the allowed transitions connecting the levels below the dissociation limit were observed using the improved experimental set up.
