Abstract

In this paper, we propose Mini-Car-Soccer as a testbed of granular computing. Mini-Car-Soccer represents a competition of soccer games by radio-controlled (RC) cars. The game is filmed with a video camera recorder fixed on the ceiling and transformed into spatio-temporal data so that a wide range of researchers in granular computing can access them. We demonstrate our video summarization method as a case study to show that Mini-Car-Soccer is an ideal environment to consider various kinds of granularity including time.
