Abstract

Crystalline-state photoreaction of a newly prepared organorhodium dithionite complex withn-hexyltetramethyl-cyclopentadienyl (Cp^Hex: η⁵-C₅Me₄n-Hexyl) ligands was studied by single crystal X-ray diffraction experiments; 2π/5 rotation of the Cp^Hexligand is induced by the photoisomerization of the dithionite group (μ-O₂SSO₂).
