N2 - This paper considers a CMOS circuit which is composed of inverter‐type gates, transfer gates, and connections. the properties of the equivalent circuit obtained by replacing those elements by circuit models are discussed. It is shown that if all inverter‐type gates in the circuit can be given signs so that different signs are adjacent to each other, the response waveform of the circuit depends monotonically on the initial value, input and the transistor parameters.
