Abstract

Nuclear structure of the doubly magic 68Ni and its neighbors has been studied by spectroscopic techniques. Developing a new instrument isomerscope, we have measured γ rays from nano-second isomers produced in heavy-ion deep-inelastic collisions with great sensitivity.
