New comprehensive calculation of muon initial sticking to 4He in dtμ fusion

Abstract

The initial αμ sticking probability, ω0s is revisited by a new sophisticated calculation which does not assume the three approximations taken usually in the literature calculations. It is found that magnitude of ω0s increases very slightly by the removal of the approximations.
