Abstract

A novel, simple NAD+ recycling system in an organic solvent is described. Alcohol dehydrogenase and NAD+ adsorbed on a semiconductor, TIO2, catalyzed dehydrogenation of cinnamyl alcohol through photocatalytic regeneration of NAD+. The merit of this system in an organic solvent is discussed.
