Novel Terahertz-Wave Beam Steering Method by Photomixing with Chromatic Dispersion of Optical Fibers

Abstract

We proposed a new beam steering method of terahertz wave generated by the photomixing using the chromatic dispersion of an optical fiber. This technique based on a phase shift of terahertz wave by tuning wavelengths of lightwaves. Simulated results showed that the beam angle of terahertz wave would be steered over 70 degrees.
