Abstract
The paper presents a finite element method formulation to calculate unsteady aerodynamic force for three-dimensional oscillating cascades in subsonic flows. Three-dimensional small unsteady perturbations super-imposed on a spanwise uniform steady flow are treated. Numerical calculations have been conducted to investigate the three-dimensional effects upon unsteady aerodynamic force for various combinations of the reduced frequency, interblade phase angle, mean angle of attack, camber, thickness, aspect ratio and vibration mode.
