Abstract
In the present numerical study, we carried out the large-eddy simulation (LES) of the wake generated behind the wind lens turbine (WLT) under optimal tip speed ratio. As a result, in the case of two wind lens turbines are arranged in the distance of 4D, it was shown that the power generation output of the wind lens turbine is usually higher than the conventional wind turbine (WT), where D is a diameter of a rotor.
