Abstract
The measurement of the fast potential change near the separartix directly at the L-H transition by a heavy-ion-beam probe was presented. The potential changes with two different time scales were observed at the L-H transition triggered by a sawtooth crash. The first change was a fast change just after a sawtooth crash and the other was a few 100 μs after a sawtooth crash. The time scale of the first change was in the range of 10 to 100 μs and the time scale of the second change was about 230 μs.
