Abstract

This paper presents OCAIN; on-chip impedance analyzer for the measurement of cellular mechanical parameters in a flow environment. We employed the robochip (robot integrated microfluidic chip) as a disposable part of the system, which was integrated with a tunable wall and an implanted force sensor. For the quality evaluation of the cell, OCIAN was demonstrated to measure the Young's module of the oocyte, and the result shows that OCIAN will be possible to widely contribute as measurement method of the mechanical impedance of the cell.
