On Accuracy of Restoration of Concealing-Restoring System for Physical Layer

Abstract

We have been studying the concealing-restoring system (CRS) set on the data link layer of the open-systems-interconnection reference model in order to protect the data on the physical layer since we supplied its prototype. CRS comprises the digital-to-analog encoding, main body, and analog-to-digital encoding. The main body consists of the concealing system and the restoring system. The concealing and restoring of data are performed by the random noise disturbance and the noise elimination, respectively. In this paper, we report the results of numerical experiments in the accuracy of the restoration of CRS, and make statistical analyses on the results in detail.
