On-demand lens fabrication by liquid phase molding with gallium and Polydimethylsiloxane

Abstract

A new on-demand lens fabrication with gallium molding was proposed and demonstrated. A convex and concave surface of liquid gallium is transferred to Polydimethylsiloxane. The curvature can be controlled between ±0.37 mm-1.
