On the atomic arrangement on ZrO/W(100) cathode surface - models for LEED I-V analysis

Abstract

Several models of atomic arrangements for the low work function cathode surface which consider Zr atoms protrude outer than the oxygen atoms are proposed. This configuration reveals electrical dipoles on the surface and is essential for reducing work function.
