Abstract

Keto acids play important roles in vivo. In this paper, a novel one-pot keto acid detection system has been developed by the combination of the oxime-click reaction and aggregationinduced emission (AIE). Particularly high selectivity was observed for pyruvic acid (α-keto acid), but wide applications for sensing other keto acids are also possible by controlling the reaction conditions.
