One-pot separation of highly enriched (6,5)-single-walled carbon nanotubes using a fluorene-based copolymer

    Abstract

    We now describe the finding that a copolymer of 9,9-dioctylfluorenyl-2,7- diyl and bipyridine (BPy) can extract in "onepot" ≈ 9697%- enriched (6,5)-SWNTs in m-xylene and p-xylene not containing metallic SWNTs, which was revealed by visnear IR absorption, photoluminescence, and Raman spectroscopies.
