Abstract
The investigation of field induced magnetic orders (FIMO) in the interacting spin 3÷2 dimer system Cs3Cr2Br 9 was presented. It was found that the large spin value of Cr 3+, s=3÷2 favored the presence of local anisotropies while the spin dimers formed a hexagonal arrangement in the (a, b) plane. The role of a small anisotropy and the effects of frustration in a FIMO were also demonstrated experimentally. An analysis in terms of projected pseudospins was proposed in order to discuss the striking features of in the magnetic phase.
