Photonic and radiative properties of bubble arrays

Abstract

In this paper we explore the photonic and radiative properties of regular bubble arrays. The photonic band structure and transmissivity, reflectivity and absorptivity of the arrays are calculated numerically. In particular we investigate the effects of packing density and lattice constant on the absorptivity by the numerical simulation.
