Pilot-Lightwave-based Terahertz Wave Phase Stabilization

Abstract

A promising candidate for the THz wave generation technique is the photomixing of two lightwaves. Thus, a lightwave interferometric system using a pilot lightwave is invented for phase stabilization of that THz wave generation system. We experimentally demonstrate the feasibility of the phase stabilization system.
