Abstract

The polymerization of allyl compounds bearing perfluoroisopropenyl group was investigated under radical condition. The polymer of high degree of polymerization was obtained from 2-(4-pentenoyloxy)pentafluoropropene. The polymerization was found to take place by addition polymerization mechanism instead of cyclopolymerization.
