Abstract
Posterior urethra valve are well known to the serious cause of end-stage renal disease in the early childhood. The posterior urethral obstruction represents a mechanical obstruction in the urethral conduit leading to sequential secondary pathological changes including marked bilateral ureteric dilatation due to secondary VUR. Posterior urethral valve is classified into three types by Young et al. (J Urol 3:289, 1919). As an ideal treatment of this disease, endoscopic treatment is usually considered. In this chapter, endoscopic valve resection is described.
