Abstract
A hydrostatic pressure induced ferromagnetism was found in a TbMn2 intermetallic compound in a low temperature region below 50 K, where the helical spin structure takes place at normal pressure. This change in the spin structure is attributable to the disappearance of the magnetic moment at manganese atoms by the application of the pressure.
