Abstract

DNA polymerase reaction under pulsed ultrasound irradiation was investigated on a DNA-immobilized quartz-crystal microbalance (QCM), and the 240-kHz ultrasound irradiation pulsed at 20s -1 increased the polymerization reactivity owing to the increase of the stability of the DNA/polymerase/monomer complex, although the continuous irradiation decreases the stability.
