Abstract
A fluorescent detection using xanthene-based chemosensor was demonstrated for rapid detection and quantitative analysis of pathogenic spore-forming bacteria. The method is simple without the need for any complicated instrumentation and highly specific. This sensing system was applied to the fluorescence detection of a saliva sample contaminated with pathogenic spore-forming bacteria using micro-plate technique.
