Rapid two-step Southern hybridization analysis using a microchip

Abstract

Microchip-based Southern hybridization analysis system was developed, which consists of DNA separation by microchip electrophoresis and successive hybridization in a micro square space. The system realized both DNA separation by size and identification by hybridization with simple operations and short analysis time.
