Abstract
Recent development of the continuum-discretized coupled-channels method (CDCC) is reviewed. The following three topics are covered: i) four-body CDCC with the clusterorbital shell-model (COSM) wave functions, COSM-CDCC, and its application to the study of nuclear breakup of 22C, ii) the eikonal reaction theory (ERT) that accurately describes inclusive breakup processes within the framework of CDCC, and iii) some applications of CDCC to nuclearastrophysics.
