Abstract

Using an image analysis system, the quantitative relation between reducibility of sinter and its constituent minerals has been carried out. The effects of calcium ferrite content on reducibility were investigated using synthesized samples and binary calcium ferrite CaO multiplied by (times) Fe//2O//3(CF) or CaO multiplied by (times) 2Fe//2O//3(CF//2).
