    Abstract

A new formula to analyze two-dimensional electromagnetic crystals of circular cylinders coated by magnetized ferrite. This formula is based on lattice sums' matrices and a T-matrix of an isolated cylinder. The new formula, has restrained the computed error caused by β-matrix than previous formula. These electromagnetic crystals can be applied in some automatic control devices to control perfect bang gap. Numerical examples show that the convergence is very fast and the computing accuracy is very high.
