Epitaxially grown crystals of transition metal coordination compounds (TMCC's) by selective coordination epitaxy (SCE) are studied by Buerger precession method. Three-dimensional order between the epitaxially-grown crystal and the substrate is established. Thus, the epitaxial growth by SCE is proved in the same manner as the proof by electron diffraction pattern in the case of molecular beam epitaxy. The Buerger precession method is proposed as a powerful method to characterize tailored structures grown by SCE. The characteristics of SCE of TMCC's are discussed.
