Abstract

Mesoscopic honeycomb structures and regular, hexagonally packed monolayers were produced when fluorocarbon-stabilized silver particles were cast onto solid substrates from fluorocarbon solution. The resulting structures depend on the concentration of the solution and the humidity of the atmosphere.
