Abstract

The time-resolved difference phase and absorption spectra (TRDPS and TRDAS, respectively) of 1D porphyrin J-aggregates are studied using a femtosecond Sagnac interferometer. Porphyrin J-aggregates show a sharp absorption peak at 1.75 eV, therefore they are suited for evaluation of the Kramers-Kronig (KK) relations. The KK are satisfied at all the observed delay time except at zero delay.
