Abstract

The lasing properties of a dye cored dendrimer in polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) waveguides was investigated. The multiple scattering yielded a single-narrow-line laser emission with relative amounts of doping ratio. Stimulated emission results were evaluated for doped and undoped dendrimer waveguides. Amplified spontaneous emission was revealed for both doped and undoped systems.
