Solid state battery with Li2O-V2O5-SiO2 solid electrolyte thin film

Abstract

Li2O-V2O5-SiO2 solid electrolyte thin films are fabricated by an rf-sputtering method. The electrical conductivity of the film is 1.0×10-4S/m at 25°C. Solid state Li/MnOx cells with the Li2O-V2O5-SiO2 films have almost the same charge-discharge properties as cells with liquid electrolyte, although the solid state cell has a self-discharge problem.
