Abstract

Specific heat measurements are carried out on the random mixture of two antiferromagnets with competing anisotropies, CsMn1-xCo xCl3·2H2O (x=0.032 and 0.102). Two anomalies are observed. One is due to the transition between the paramagnetic and antiferromagnetic phases and the other the transition between the antiferromagnetic and intermediate phases. The preliminary phase diagram is obtained.
