Abstract

Analysis and experiment are carried out for the current balancing characteristics of the parallel dc-dc converter system with averaged current-balancing controllers. The suppression effect of the current unbalance caused by the difference in the module parameters in the static and dynamic characteristics is quantitatively determined. With regard to the instability inside the parallel system caused by the current-balancing control with a phase delay, the phenomena are presented and the stable operating region is derived.
