Abstract

We have successfully developed a concatenated micro pump based on conductive ElectroHydroDynamics (EHD) that is easy to fabricate and embeds to a micro channel. An advantage of this pump is the capability of increasing pressure without any machinery part and vibrations. The generated pressure can be controlled by means of the applied voltage. The EHD pump is suitable for small products.
