Abstract

In this study, we report on synthesis and physical properties of slide-ring gels containing magnetic nano particles. The magnetic slide-ring gel was prepared by crosslinking hydroxypropylated polyrotaxane (HAPR) with divinyl sulfone in a tetramethylammonium hydroxide solution containing magnetite nano particles. The concentration of HAPR was approximately 10 wt %. We investigated magnetic responses of the magnetic slide-ring gels.
